Get started
Install Growth Desk on your phone or computer.
Growth Desk runs at app.digitalwhale.io. Install it once and it opens from its own icon, like any other app, with notifications for new chats and leads.
iPhone and iPad
Add it to your Home Screen.
Use Safari, on iOS 16.4 or later.
Open Growth Desk in Safari
Go to app.digitalwhale.io and sign in.
Tap Share
The square with an arrow pointing up, at the bottom of the screen.
Tap Add to Home Screen
Scroll down the list to find it, then tap Add.
Open it from the icon
From now on, open Growth Desk from its icon on your Home Screen. On iPhone, notifications only work from the installed app.
Android
Install it from Chrome.
Open Growth Desk in Chrome
Go to app.digitalwhale.io and sign in.
Open the menu
Tap ⋮ at the top right of the screen.
Tap Install app
On some phones it says Add to Home screen. Confirm with Install.
Open it from the icon
Growth Desk is now with your other apps and opens full screen.
Computer
Install it from Chrome or Edge.
Open Growth Desk
Go to app.digitalwhale.io in Chrome or Edge and sign in.
Click the install icon
It sits at the right end of the address bar.
Click Install
Growth Desk opens in its own window. Pin it to your taskbar or dock to keep it at hand.
Notifications
Turn on notifications.
Hear about new chats and leads the moment they arrive. Turn them on once on each phone or computer you use.
Open Settings
In Growth Desk, open Settings from the menu. On a phone, it is under More.
Find Notifications on this device
It is near the bottom of the page.
Tap Turn on notifications
When your phone or browser asks, tap Allow.
Send a test
Tap Send a test. It should arrive in a few seconds.
What you get notified about.
Switch each one on or off in the same place, in Settings.
New conversation
Someone starts a chat on your website. Tap the notification to open that chat.
New lead
A visitor leaves their name and contact, with what they asked for.
Blog reminder
Your blog has gone 3 days without a new post.
Not getting notifications?
The test never arrives.
Check that Focus or Do Not Disturb is off. While it is on, notifications arrive silently or not at all.
Growth Desk says notifications are blocked.
Open your phone or browser settings, find Notifications and allow them for Growth Desk. Then reload Growth Desk and send a test.
I tapped Don't allow by mistake.
Your phone remembers that answer, so the app can't ask again. Allow notifications for Growth Desk in your phone or browser settings, reload the app and tap Turn on notifications.
There is no Turn on notifications button on my iPhone.
On iPhone, notifications only work from the installed app, on iOS 16.4 or later. Add Growth Desk to your Home Screen, open it from the icon and try again.
I got a new phone.
Notifications are set for each device. Turn them on again on the new one.
